Warga Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the Warga mobile application ("Warga", "we", "our", or "us") handles information. Warga helps users find emergency and public service contacts near them. If you have questions, contact us at: support@appwarga.com

Information We Collect

• Location data: With your permission, Warga uses your device’s location to show nearby emergency and public service contacts. Your coordinates are processed on-device and are not sent to our servers. You can deny or revoke location access at any time in system Settings.
• Search queries and map lookups: When you use the in‑app search, results are powered by Apple Maps (MapKit). Your search terms and related lookup requests are handled by Apple under their privacy policies.
• Recent searches (on device): When you search for contacts, your recent search queries are stored on your device and are not shared with us.
• Network requests for directory data: The app downloads a directory of emergency/public contacts from our service. These requests do not include personal identifiers or your precise location.

We do not collect contact information, account identifiers, or payment information. We do not use third‑party analytics or advertising SDKs.

How We Use Information

• Provide core functionality: Determine nearest services and display relevant contacts.
• Improve reliability: Cache the public directory locally so the app works faster and offline.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share personal data. Search requests made through Apple Maps are handled by Apple as a third party. Phone/WhatsApp actions are handled by your chosen apps/carriers.

Data Retention

• Location data is used in real time and not stored on our servers.
• Recent places and the downloaded directory are stored locally on your device. You can remove them by deleting the app or clearing in‑app recent places if provided.

Your Choices

• Location: Grant or revoke in Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Warga.
• Clear local data: Delete the app to remove cached directory and recent places. If the app provides an in‑app option to clear recent places, use it for finer control.

Children’s Privacy

Warga is suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International Transfers

Directory data may be hosted on servers outside your country. We do not transfer your personal data to our servers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected with a new “Last updated” date.
